Perlino boasts a history that began more than 100 years ago.
Our wine-growing tradition has strong, deep roots in the hills around Asti, Piedmont, an area where wine-growing, wine-making and knowledge of wine are not only a tradition but especially culture and art that, perfected over time and handed down across the generations, have seen our company accumulate a unique and incomparable background of experience. Perlino later acquired Filipetti winery, a traditional Moscato producer.
SPARKLING FRIENDSHIPS
The company was founded in Canelli in 1922, in the heart of the elective Moscato area, producing Vermouth, aperitifs, Marsala, liqueurs and aromatised wines – but especially Sparkling Wines have always been and still are its main vocation. The Filipetti family was for many years the soul and driving force behind this company and always sought to maintain traditional, small business production methods nonetheless integrated with innovative technology to obtain the best from grapes.
