Sparks of light materialized in gears of evolving shapes, often dynamic solids in dialogue with the changing landscape, with its seasons and colors, without fear of confrontation, at the same level, with heroic and very human sincerity, a meeting of fragility and listening between man, project, and nature, all dosed by a poetic instinct and by a huge heritage of images linked to the history of art.
The meeting and dialogue with nature guided the visions of a whole life of the artist and architect Mario Galvagni (1927-2020).
The ways have been several and very different, as are the expressions that nature delights us. And they have been a whole life long, always in harmony with the landscape in which he went to intervene, when he was still a boy when he ran into important commissions such as the one that placed him on the stage of the Milan Triennale, to exhibit alongside his professors at the Polytechnic, such as Gio Ponti, eg. Or in Torre del Mare, to challenge the promontory of Bergeggi, or in Valtournenche, with the background of the mount Cervino to stand out beside the shades of the crystal materialized in its architectures.
Then the research went on and on, between art and architecture, without ever slowing down. And here we met him and fell in love with his gentle ambition and his worldview in an instinctive way.
So, thanks to him, little more than kids, our story began…
