Soi Dog was established to provide a humane and sustainable shelter for the strays and address their medical needs.

The unwanted growth of strays roamed in the island due to a lack of spay and neuter programs to control the population; Soi Dog was created. Spay and neuter is the only proven, sustainable and humane method of reducing the stray animal population. Funding then, as it does now, came entirely from individuals who shared; GFour International continue to share and support the general expenses for three dogs: Augusta, Aro, Madahava.

We always wanted to improve dogs and cats’ welfare in Asia, resulting in better lives for both the animal and human communities.
